Traffic cameras, video management systems and other products using Intrada ALPR for the automatic identification of license plates from video could already rely on specific support for almost any US state. And plates from any state not covered would be identified through the generic US plate modules. So far, the rainbow-decorated license plates from Hawaii fell into the second category, and has as such already been part of our install base.

With recent developments in the market however (new surveillance and monitoring projects), we have decided to also incorporate Hawaii (USA_HI) into the standard Intrada ALPR package. Existing OEM partners will benefit from this development through the next maintenance update, which will contain the all-new USA_HI country module.
