As a subject matter expert, our Technical Sales Lead works with our internal sales teams and distributor sales teams on all Q-Free product offerings. The position provides sales support to include developing sales strategies for future business and projects by utilizing our innovative product line and services. Additionally providing remote and on-site technical sales support to our dealers, customers, and account managers.

What You'll Do

  • Develops technical presentations for both agencies and technical sessions at requested conferences
  • Ensures that the team delivers compelling technical presentations that drive sales
  • Utilizes deep technical acumen to educate the team on product, competitors, and prospects
  • Assists with relations with key customers
  • Partners with internal technical, product management and marketing teams to utilize customer insights and market intelligence to contribute to the product roadmap
  • Assists in preparation of proposals with a focus on any technical matrices and task requirement hours
  • Establishes relationships with dealer to ensure that they have the latest information about products and services offered by the company
  • Assists sales and marketing in developing technical marketing collateral and training for both new customer targets and Q-Free authorized dealers
  • Identifies opportunities for new products, services, or applications that will increase revenue or improve efficiency in operations
  • Ensures that all staff members are trained on product knowledge and customer service skills
  • Maintains relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction with products and services
  • Coordinates with sales staff to schedule appointments or demonstrations with potential clients
  • Manages internal, dealer and customer sales demo systems
  • Provides annual dealer trainings

What You Bring

  • Well-developed sales skills
  • Ability to make decisions and evaluations to determine the needs of the customers
  • Travel up to 75% of the time
  • Excellent customer relations skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • IMSA Traffic Signal Certifications preferred
  • PE or EIT with traffic operations experience preferred
  • Project Management (PMP Certification) preferred
