Last year, the company decided that greater effect could be achieved if it added vehicles’ registration numbers to the displayed messages. The results would still be non-enforceable but would increase the deterrent effect and persuade more drivers to conform to local speed limits.

NWK Tech has therefore become an OEM partner to Q-Free, and is using the company’s Intrada ALPR for the registration identification process. The first signs using Q-Free’s ALPR technology have already been sold and commissioned.
