Our way of working

To change the movements of life, we need to continuously improve and refine the way we work.

Our commitment to quality, safety, environmental responsibility, and information security is embedded in our culture, our management systems, and the solutions we deliver.

Our Guiding Principles

Q-Flow, Q-Clean, and Q-Safe define not only our purpose but how we operate every day—across our people, processes, and technology.

Q-Flow at work

We believe strong customer focus, engaged employees, and effective process management are essential to continuous improvement.

Employee engagement
Our employees are regularly surveyed to measure engagement, motivation, and satisfaction. Supporting the full employee journey is a priority, reinforced by ongoing development, structured feedback, and open dialogue. This commitment is supported by dedicated employee engagement leadership and a strong focus on professional growth.

Q-Free Way
Q‑Free Way is our framework of processes and procedures that ensures work is performed efficiently and consistently. With customer and stakeholder needs at the center, our teams continually review and improve how we operate. This management system is independently verified through ISO 9001 certification.

Risk management
We apply a structured, proactive approach to risk management based on ISO 31000 principles. Risks and uncertainties are identified, assessed, and managed at both corporate and local levels to support informed decision‑making across our organization.

Information security & trust
Information security is a core part of our operational framework. Q‑Free maintains ISO 27001 certification, covering our main office and multiple additional sites, with continued expansion underway.

In 2023, Q‑Free became the first Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) provider to achieve a third‑party SOC 2 Type II attestation with no exceptions, demonstrating that security controls are effectively designed and operating over time. In addition, a SOC 3 Trust Services Report is available as a publicly shareable summary of our security practices.

These independent certifications and attestations demonstrate Q-Free’s leadership in security and reinforces our commitment to protecting customer data, maintaining reliable solutions, and operating in accordance with recognized industry standards.

Q-Clean at work

We actively work to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and meet sustainability goals.

Environment
Environmental responsibility is a core priority at Q‑Free. Through our ISO 14001-certified environmental management system, we ensure that sustainability is integrated into daily operations and decision‑making—allowing us to “walk the talk” when it comes to environmental stewardship.

Q-Safe at work

The health and safety of our employees and contractors is a top priority.

Health, safety, & working environment (HSE)
HSE is embedded in the Q‑Free Way and certified in accordance with ISO 45001. This ensures that occupational health and safety is part of our strategy, supported by defined processes to reduce risk and maintain a safe working environment.

HSE representatives
Our HSE representatives help maintain a strong safety culture by performing inspections, participating in HSE committees, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
