High Speed Weigh-in-Motion with ANPR- Scotland
Transport Scotland has delegated responsibility for traffic monitoring across Scotland, which includes over 800 monitoring outstations, 55 of which, are high speed weigh in motion (HSWiM) sites.
Q-Free’s industry standard HI-TRAC® 100+ WIM unit along with Class 1 piezo-electric sensors are used at the majority of the installations. In recent months, in partnership with Jenoptik, existing sites have been upgraded and new sites added using Q-Free’s HI-TRAC® TMU4 with integrated ANPR.
