Underground Multi-Lane Free-Flow – Australia
In 2004, Q-Free was subcontracted by BHBB JV to supply the Multi- Lane Free-Flow (MLFF) system, tag administration and casual user back office system for the Sydney Cross City Tunnel. This was the first MLFF tolling system to be installed underground.
The system incorporates a complete casual user back office system with customer accounting and bank interface, colour video enforcement and processing with optical character recognition, and vehicle classification. This was the first casual user back office system implemented in Sydney.
