DIS Nordic AB together with ARS Traffic & Transport Technology has been contracted to supply Tiehallinto (Finnish Road Administration) with systems to gather information about nationwide travel times and traffic flows across Finland.
Tiehallinto was the first organisation in Europe to take concrete steps to gather information travel times and traffic flow on a national infrastructure level. ARS T&TT and DIS Nordic were responsible for supplying the technical solutions as well as system integration. The whole system, with Intrada ALPR installed, was deployed in the summer of 2008.
