Electronic Access Control – Australia

In 2012, Q-Free was awarded the contract to provide an Electronic Access Fee Collection System (EAFCS) for taxis and ground transport operators at Brisbane Airport.

The scope of the contract comprised delivery of roadside systems based on the Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) protocol for both taxis and ground transport operators, and a central control system. The project went live in 2013.
