Latin America is one of the fastest road user charging markets and Q-Free is one of the leading providers of electronic tolling solutions (ETC) in the country. Q-Free has established its regional office for Latin America in Sao Paolo, where it has already supplied over 450 ETC lanes and 500.000 OBUs. A strong presence in the Brazilian market is reinforced by the company's partnerships, working with local Governments and highway operators to provide a more comfortable and efficient environment for Brazil's road transport sector.
With its Brazilian presence, Q-Free maintains a regional 'hub' for local manufacturing, technical expertise and support and, from its factory in Campinas, the company supplies customers throughout Latin America and other continents.
In 2004, Q-Free entered the sophisticated Chilean market where a far-sighted Ministry of Public Works changed the urban traffic design of the country's capital Santiago to become one of the most visionary and efficient transport systems in the world. Q-Free is proud to have supplied major sections of the ETC infrastructure and OBUs to this innovative project.
