The Board of Directors

The board of directors is elected by the shareholders and employees to oversee the executive management of the company and to ensure that the long-term interests of the shareholders and other interested parties are being served.

The board of directors has ultimate responsibility for the management of the company and for supervising its day-to-day business and activities in general. Its main responsibilities are to determine and oversee the company's overall vision, objectives and strategy. The board of directors also ensures that the company's activities are well organised, keeping itself informed about the company's financial situation and ensuring that the company's risk exposure is handled by the management in an appropriate way.

Ole Jørgen Fredriksen
Chairman of the Board

Ole Jørgen Fredriksen has over 25 years' experience in the computer hardware and software industry. He was one of the co-founders and the President and CEO of ASK, subsequently Proxima and InFocus, the leading global projector company.

Christian Albech
Board Member

Christian Albech has substantial experience in the information and media industries. He heads Telenor Broadcast's operational activities, which consists of Canal Digital, Norkring, Conax and Telenor Satellite Broadcasting. Christian Albech comes from the position as Senior Vice President of Telenor Broadcast and has extensive experience from Telenors TV activities. Albech has previously headed Telenor's cable TV activities and was hired as Head of Canal Digital's forerunner CTV. Mr. Albech has widespread experience of board management.

Torild Skogsholm
Board Member

Torild Skogsholm is the Managing Director of Oslo Sporvognsdrift AS. From 2001-2005, Mrs Skogsholm was the Minister for Transport and Communications. She has also held positions as political advisor to the Ministry of Environment and Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Mimi Kristine Berdal
Board Member

Mimi K. Berdal has a law degree from the University of Oslo, and runs her own law/consultant firm mainly in the area of contract law, company/commercial law, transactions and securities trading. From 1991-2005 Berdal was a partner at the law firm Arntzen de Besche. Berdal has extensive experience from board work.

Jan Pihl Grimnes
Board Member

Jan Pihl Grimnes is through his company Redback AS investing in the IT, petroleum and mining industries. He holds 2,73% of the shares in Q-Free ASA. Grimnes founded Technoguide AS, and holds several board positions both in listed and non-listed companies. Grimnes holds an MBA  from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and a MSc from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

   

Frank Aune
Employee elected Member of the Board

Frank Aune has been working in Q-Free since 2006, and holds the position as  Head of R&D Security.

Sissel Lillevik Larsen
Employee elected Member of the Board

Mrs Lillevik Larsen has been with Q-Free ASA since 2000 and holds the position as Technical project manager.
